We are excited to share that, for the second consecutive year, our Cybersecurity team (GRAMAX) was part of the Gold-winning team at the prestigious Bharat National Cybersecurity Exercise 2024 (BHARAT NCX 2024), organized by the National Security Council Secretariat (PMO).
BHARAT NCX 2024, chaired by National Cybersecurity Coordinator Lt Gen (Retd.) MU Nair, brought together participants from the cyber wings of the Armed Forces, intelligence agencies, government ministries, PSUs, and major critical infrastructure organizations. This 12-day, closed-door exercise aimed to equip India's cybersecurity professionals with the skills needed to counter evolving threats using advanced cyber defense strategies.
The highlight of the event was the Blue Teaming competition, where 24 cross-industry teams, each consisting of 6 members randomly assigned by the organizers, were tasked with defending a simulated network against sophisticated cyberattacks over five days. These attacks were carried out by Red teamers with top-tier industry expertise, creating high-pressure scenarios based on real-world challenges. Teams collaborated intensely to secure their networks and recover them under strict time constraints, as needed. Representing GMR, GRAMAX Cybersecurity Analysts Shubham Rajkamal and Abhishek Raj participated in the Blue Teaming competition. Shubham Rajkamal’s team earned the prestigious Gold award.
The event concluded on 29th November with a valedictory speech and an award presentation by Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (CISC), Lt Gen J P Mathew, who honored the winning team.
